For the first time in over two years of posting this comic, I missed my deadline.  Well, not missed it, but was not able to post the comic to this website.  The server that La Vida Skeeter runs off of was down yesterday.  I posted the comic to twitpic and tumblr and linked to it from both the LVS facebook page & my twitter account.  I also set up a backup tumblr in case this happens again in the future.  Anyway, I know it’s not the end of the world, but it was extremely frustrating on this end.  I’m a firm believer that if you pay for a service, it should work (call me crazy).  Anyway, the weekend is here.  Time to put the worries behind us & unwind a little.  Here’s a drink & a toast: to the little webcomic that will not die no matter how many times you swat it.  Also, a special thanks to the engineers at Yahoo for getting things back on track so quickly.

Neon-Geek Cocktail
1/2 oz. Whisky (bourbon)
1/2 oz. Citrus soda
1 oz. Beer (lager)
Combine ingredients in a mixing glass with one cup of crushed ice. Strain into a margarita glass and serve immediately. (source)

Cheers,
Lee
